This newly reformed townhouse really is a breath of fresh air. The owner has used colour to highlight the original features, and it really works!
On entry is the lounge-diner, with plenty of space for a sofa and table and chairs. The room has a lovely rustic feel with wood panelling and alcoves, cool and calming in the summer and cosy and warm in the winter. From here are the stairs to the first floor and the kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen is fitted with modern appliances and is fresh and clean. Next door is a handy area for the washing machine and a small covered patio. The bathroom is again new with over-bath shower and white tiles.
Upstairs there is a second bathroom situated next to the master bedroom. This room overlooks the street, with light coming from the traditional wooden window. Also on this floor are two other rooms, currently used as a study and dressing room respectively. The first room (current study) would make an ideal dressing room, and the second room (currently study) would make a second bedroom. There is plenty of light here from the patio, and the alcove cut from the rock would make an ideal place for a purpose build moroccan-style bed (thanks Anne-Marie for this great idea.
Up to the next floor and we find a further bedroom, set in the apex of the house, with wonderful original beams. Great for a day bed to enjoy the lovely breeze from the terrace.
A door leads out from here to a terrace with views towards Algodonales and up towards the castle. You can sit here and watch the world go by, although this is one of the quieter streets in town.
The current owner has previously rented out this property successfully, and it would make a great holiday home / rental / investment.
