I have known this house for the past 9 years and remember the beautiful reform happening, it maintains as much character today as it did originally and is a comfortable and inviting home.
The lovely wooden double front door leads you into a vestibule which is finished with attractive zocolo tiles in the traditional manner, off this is the first of 2 reception rooms, which has been used as a home office , through a set of glass and wood doors and you are in the reception area, an arch draws the eye to the rustic fitted fitted kitchen and dining area with wood burner and double doors out on to the cool and very private patio, downstairs is tiled throughout with rustic baldoza terracotta tiles, there is a separate passage way besides the kitchen which also has door leading to laundry and downstairs wash room area and on to the patio.
Upstairs there is a surprise! a large living area with double height vaulted and beamed ceiling almost giving a chapel feel to this area, the lounge has a wood burner here and skylights bringing in plenty of natural light, to the front of house there is double bedroom and a beautifully finished shower room. Also on this floor original arches lead you through to another double bedroom and a bathroom, and a little enclosed staircase leads to a further room that has windows over looking patio and a door on to out onto a small lower terrace area and stairs leading onto the roof terrace with its fantastic views and sunshine, the terrace is fitted with frmae work for an awning to provide shade in the hottest times.
With its beam features, thick walls, arches, traditionally small wooden window and window bars this house is a rustic treat from outside in.
