It’s been an interesting few months! We’ve all managed to survive lockdown and emerge sane (more or less) and we’d like to thank all our old clients for their messages of support as well as new clients who have kept us going with property enquiries. We hope we can see you all soon: the Spanish government has said that international borders will open on 1st July so fingers crossed.
We have experimented with virtual viewings in the past few weeks and this has worked really well. We hope travel will not be disrupted in the future but we believe that our business is now even stronger and we are ready for whatever comes our way.
As such, we will be fully operational in Olvera from 1st July. The office has been deep cleaned and disinfected, hand sanitizer is available for all our clients, we just ask you all to please bring a face mask with you as these will still be obligatory in Spain even after the state of alarm ends.
Our top priority is that our homeowners and clients feel safe in Olvera: the town did not register one single case of COVID-19. For that reason and many others, Olvera is considered a safe haven and we are receiving many enquiries from clients who feel less secure in more densely populated areas and are searching for a better, safer way of life in the Andalusian hills.
The property market has continued to attract a lot of interest throughout lockdown and enquiries are increasing by the day. Not just from the UK but many Spanish buyers are looking for a better way of life and we have clients from around the world searching for investment opportunities as well as full time homes.
We also still have many potential buyers from the UK who need a foothold in Spain so they can secure residency before the 31st December Brexit deadline (yes, Brexit still hasn’t gone away!). So we look forward to welcoming you to Olvera, be assured we take your safety very seriously but you could not be coming to a better place than this magical white washed town in the hills.
