Concierge Services

To ensure the purchase process proceeds smoothly we offer the following additional services for a very modest extra charge:

  • Assistance with the opening and operating of a bank account
  • Helping you to obtain an NIE number

If you choose not to engage an independent lawyer we can also:

  • Verify that the purchase contract is correct and covers your interests
  • Carry out the necessary searches
  • Arrange payment of deposits
  • Prepare all necessary documentation for the visit to the Notary
  • Accompany you to the Notary for the signing of the title deed and translating documents for you.

Our comprehensive after sales service recognises how hard it is to deal with the practicalities of setting up a new home in a foreign country where everything seems to be done differently from the systems you are used to. Over the years, we have helped clients, weeks, months or even years after they have purchased a property through us.

Our after sales service includes:

  • Arranging for the connection of a telephone and internet
  • Arranging for utilities to be transferred into your name
  • Help finding reliable builders and tradesmen

This package costs €490 (+IVA and expenses such as the actual cost of the NIE number payable directly to the Spanish authorities) and includes full changeover of utilities and broadband connection.

We normally deduct this amount from the €2,000 holding deposit you paid at the start of the process.

Other services are available on an ad hoc basis, for example, we can also arrange on request:

  • Assistance with residency application
  • Assistance with registration at the local town hall – “Empadronamiento”
  • Assistance with house insurance
  • Advice on preparation of your Spanish wills
  • Management of building projects, large and small
