• 8% purchase taxes are due to be paid on the price agreed for the property
• Notary fee = €600 – €700 
• Property registration fee = €500 – €700 
• Cost of lawyer should you require one would be minimum €900 upwards depending on property price. 

Although in Spain you it’s not a requirement to use a lawyer, some clients still prefer to use one, Spanish people are happy to use just the notary public which is the legal requirement.

• Electricity every 2 months standing charge = €35 – €50 depending on contracted power (3kw is normal, it can go up to 6kw)
• Council tax on average annually €150 – €250 
• Rubbish collection annually €87 
• Water is billed every 3 months standing charge = €26 approximately per month

All bills for council tax must be proven to have been paid before you sign.

TV Olvera is a cable connection and costs around €20 a month, free installation with supplied router, a good connection for live streaming, watching TV etc, (this is usually connected within a few days of requesting)

Fibre optic connection with Cableoptic on a fixed contract for 2 years costs is approximately €30 per month and installation is free.
